Breakfast Club
Everyone is welcome at Christ Church Primary School’s Breakfast Club which provides quality childcare for children from Reception to Year 6. It is operated by our own staff, not a private company, and this ensures that the children know the staff well and they know the children. We provide a nutritious breakfast and prepare your child for the school day.
Opening times: The club is open every weekday during term time from 7.45 – 8.45 am. Your child can join at any time during this hour. Breakfast is served until 8.30 am.
Cost: The cost per day is £6.00.
Food provided: A selection of healthy cereals with semi-skimmed milk, brown and white toast with jam, butter and honey, orange or apple juice, yoghurt and fresh fruits.
Friday special menu!: The children enjoy and look forward to our Friday special menu which offers warm waffles, pancakes, or ham/cheese toasties and hot chocolate!
Activities: After breakfast, children enjoy a variety of activities such as table football, games, colouring, crafts and Lego. They also have the opportunity to play outside in the garden and playground. Children end the session with a circle time and a prayer together before they walk into their classrooms to start the day.
We are currently trialling offering provision for our Nursery children at the request of parents.
After School Club
Our After School Club provides a quality childcare facility for children from Reception to Year 6. The club runs from 3.30-5.45pm, Monday- Friday, during term time and is able to accommodate weekly, daily or occasional attendance.
We provide a drink and a healthy snack when the children arrive at 3.30 pm, followed by a ” pre- supper” snack at 4.45 pm . Please inform us of any allergies your child might have at time of booking. All children will be encouraged to join in a choice of activities including board games, arts and crafts and outdoor play.
Sessions run from 3.30-5.45pm, 3.30-4.30pm and 4.30-5.45pm, your child can be collected at any time between these times. Please be aware that late collection may incur an additional charge.
If you would like a place for your child, please complete the registration form in advance and let the school office know.
Your child does not have to attend every day, simply book the days you require.
The cost is £10.00 per day for the 3.30-5.45pm session, £4.50 for the 3.30-4.30pm session, and £5.50 for the 4.30-5.45pm.session.
Payment is made via Parent Pay.
Childcare vouchers are also accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse further bookings if the full fee is not paid.
We are currently trialling offering provision for our Nursery children at the request of parents until 5pm.
Christ Church, the LDBS and the local authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and all staff hold an enhanced DBS check. There are also First Aid trained staff on site at all times.
